Bee Venom Therapy Safety & Suitability

Bee Venom Therapy Safety & Suitability

Before we decide where to apply bee venom, we first need to understand your symptoms, health goals, and general health history. Bee venom is biologically active, so the application points should not be chosen randomly.

We ask clients to explain what they would like to address, where they feel discomfort, how long they have had the issue, and whether they have any allergies, asthma, previous reactions to bee or wasp stings, autoimmune conditions, pregnancy, or medication use.

The points are chosen individually after this safety review. However, we are not doctors. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace medical advice. If you have any medical concerns, chronic illness, allergies, or take regular medication, please speak with your GP or medical specialist before booking.

Bee venom can cause serious allergic reactions in sensitive people. Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening allergic reaction and can be triggered by insect stings. NHS guidance says emergency help is needed if anaphylaxis occurs. NICE also recommends specialist allergy assessment for people who have had systemic reactions to bee or wasp stings.

Bee venom therapy is offered as a traditional wellness practice. It is not a guaranteed medical treatment, and it is not suitable for everyone.
